Mpendulo Mkaza a matriculate of Western Cape School of Sport 2010 was very fortunate to receive a bursary from the University of North West to study and participate in soccer for the year of 2012.
Mpendulo Mkaza, Student Number 23958170 qualified for VODACOM at University of North West/University of North West Soccer Academy Mafikeng Campus in 2012. He was expecting to return to the North West University Sports Academy, Mafikeng Campus by 17th January 2013 as was informed at the end of the year, 2012. Two weeks before the 17th January 2013 he received a shocking call from KAGISO who is one of the University Representative, to say that the University of North West, Mafikeng Campus does not have funds and has decided to cut down the number of Soccer Squad and Mpendulo is one of the soccer players affected i.e. he is not expected to go back to the Soccer Academy but can register at the University of 2013. To our surprise we received a letter from the University saying that we owe them school fees of R33 135.77 and is to be paid by 28 February and there was also a pamphlet of Edu Loan attached with the letter.
