Yesterday I went to Cresta. I needed to buy a fax/ copy printer, a modem, phone sets and various other items for my home office. I wanted a 6700 hp and the salesman told me all the stock was still in the store- they were only going to unpack it later. He took me in and showed me and told me he could offer me one at R 1799.
I bought the printer from hp at the same price. However, today I get an advert for incredible connection for the 6700. Less than 10 hours later it is now unpacked and selling for R1899 BUT comes with free desk jet printer! This the salesman obviously knew yesterday whilst trying to sell me the printer! I phoned to enquire as to when the store was informed of the special and they said "yesterday morning".
Well, I would have waited a day and come back if they had given me that titbit of info instead of trying to flog me the same printer hours before the special! So yes, I lost out. But so have you Incredible connection. I will definitely not be purchasing the rest of the equipment I was pricing from you.
