It has been nine months, and Hi-Fi corp refuses to take any responsibility. This is my 2nd report. What follows is my last e-mail to their Group Customer Service Executive.

Regarding our phone call just now.
I categorically state that no coffee or any other liquid was ever spilled on the computer by me.
IF evidence of coffee was found inside the machine I also state categorically that it was put there by either HFC, or Lenovo, or whoever else handled the machine. In other words, was committed to avoid honoring the warranty.
Good luck in your (in my opinion) criminal exploits. I shall spread the word.
I shall collect my (effed up by you) computer late February, early March from Menlyn. See that it is there.
