Late delivery of academic books

I have placed an order for academic books. Order 1001422474 was placed on 19/01 to be delivered to the post office. The post office only started their strike after that date. On the 24th I was informed that the parcel was dispatched and it would reach the post office at the latest on 31/01.By the 26th the package was already in Johannesburg and has not moved up to today. On 01/02 we contacted the call centre to find out if we could return the package and have another delivered via courier. The call centre confirmed this and sent an email to confirm that a new package will be dispatched. On the 04/02 I contacted the call centre again as they requested me to confirm that the request was processed. I was informed that the address was changed and would be processed soon. When I contacted the call centre on the 06/02 they informed me that they will only deliver the package after it is returned to the post office and that if I cancel the order I will only receive a refund once the package is returned to Kalahari. What if the package is never returned to Kalahari? My agreement is with Kalahari and not the post office. I paid you not them. The PO is YOUR service provider. Unable to study without book
