I bought showers and tiles at CTM Amalinda East London on the 21st Novermber 2012 to the value of R46000. One of the showers had only one door panel instead of two. I reported this within 7 days, asking for an exchange. But Justin (who I was also told is the manager's son) was rude to me and refused to exchange shower. Justin accused me of damaging the shower myself. I went back a few some days later to ask for cash refund as I had by then decided to another shower in Mthatha because this incident was causing a delay on site.
i sent an official complaint to CTM about this incident, but their response was that i am the one that damaged the shower. what puzzles me is that when we opened the shower packiging, the shower was missing a whole side panel. they also said that i damaged the packaging, but i asked them how else did they expect me to open the box if not by tearing it open.
CTM's response is very unacceptable.
