The receptionist hung up the phone

I called in at GS Recruitment for a post i saw that I would like to apply for and the person who answered the phone (the receptionist) i assume spoke Afrikaans and i was on the other line was speaking English starting changing attitude and she RUDELY replied how can she help be for i could say anything she hung up in my ears.
