Pay for damaged goods and get bad attitude!!

I have bought a kit (for PS 3 gun and game) when i installed on Friday 1st of February 2013, calibrated and done all the precautions, the gun doesn't work. I have drove back another 20km's to return the gun to exchange it They were very rude and i requested for the gun to be replaced. They informed me the toys et is on a 50 % discount and they will try to source me one and phone me back on Monday 4th of Feb 2013, i haven't heard from them. They complaint i opened the box with the game and the gun (how am i supposed to operate the game if i can't open it) I have phoned the on Wednesday 6th of Feb 2013 after being rude and shouting at her colleague to take a message she refuse to speak to me. Oh and she said i must return the game and gun at the latest Tuesday. I have a 7day guarantee on this (all though according to new consumer protection act68 of 2008 and in this artical 56 states that the consumer within 6 months in receiving of items (without penalties) must the supplier replace or refund the consumer. I however gave them a choice to replace it. I want answers i haven't paid discount on this item i paid R600 FOR IT. And i can't use it
