We bought 2 x Alpine Recliners with Motors on 7 December 2014 paid R20 485.00. We were told that they don't have motors and we need to order them separate to get the chairs straight away. The recliners were delivered the next week. Frans Malema working at Brakpan branch told us that he ordered the motors on the system for when the factory opens on the 16 January 2014. He promised that he will get back to me on that day. On the 17th of December 2013 I received an e-mail from Frans giving me the quotation for the motors and the promised that the order will be placed in the New Year. I've paid Rochester the amount of R3400 in full on the 20th of December to secure the motors after he told us that the order was already placed on the 7th December 2014. I still don't have my motors and the chairs are useless without them.
We have phoned and tried everything to get a response from Rochester but get the run around. I have spoken to Frans and Jaco at the Boksburg branch. We waited at the house on Friday for them to come an pickup the chairs but no one pitched. It cost us a whole afternoon of leave. The motors was never ordered. Promises. I want my money back for the chairs and motors
