On Sunday (today 2/22014) we bought formal leather men shoes at Bata Waterfall Mall Rustenburg. The price on the shelf for the shoes R399. Next to this a promotional poster saying R100 of men leather shoes until 7/2. At the till the price was R499 minus the R100. And not the R399 price on the shelf minus R100 promotional.
The explanation by the cashier was that some of the shelves the promotional R100 was already off and on other it must stll be deducted.
I do find this misleading and will never by from Bata again. I will also tell all my friends.
