I wanted to purchase an Adidas T-shirt which was displayed amongst the less 50 % off selling price garments. There was several of these t-shirts hanging on this rail. When I got to the till the cashier indicated that this item was not on sale, She called Melonie Green (the manageress) just to be told the same by Melonie, but when I asked her how come it was on the less 50%display rail she said it was only "selected" merchandise which was dicounted in a very stern tone. I asked her how 1 could differentiate between sale & non sale items as there was no markings on any of the lables, She became agitated, ordered the cashier to get my details & said she would call me back the following day. Up until now I have had no response from Melonie or head office. I made it known to her that this is false misleading advertising which is against the Consumer Protection Act. I'm disgusted at the way she treated me & feel she has no peoples skills. After speaking to several friends and family members, quite a few have had the same experience with Edgars & their incorrect billing system. Seems our major retailers do not honour customer service anymore.
