Poor quality product supplied, now damaged

November 2012 I purchased a lounge set (3-2-1) from Furniture city Umgeni Road (game city). within six months I noticed that the stitching had opened on three cushions and one chair. Upon closer inspection, I realized that due to the nature of the fabric, it would be only a period of time the other sofas will show the same problem. I contacted the company within my warranty period requesting urgent action. I asked that the set be taken back, due to the inherent poor quality of the fabric and I would choose another set from their shop and pay the difference. After several calls and failed promises. The set was fetch for repair in end November/early December. I the set was then return with very poor work man-ship on the chair, and the cushions were not done at all, return as I sent them. I contact the company outlining my findings and confirmed my original suspicion of the fabric, to date there has been no feedback. I have wasted money on a set with poor quality. |The company is not prepared to exchange or refund. The sales manager has not return my calls, and I am left embarrassed at having a damaged lounge set on display at home. There is only 2 in our family. the usage is low
