I always believed in Pick n Pay because of their level of service. I never expected dishonesty from them until recently. Whilst I was on leave a friend told me about something called "scan rite" then I remembered that I had an incident similar to this.
On Sunday the 27 October 2013 I went to Pick n Pay in Claremont to buy a Kobo touch wich was on promotion at the time. The advertising price was R799 but for some reason I paid R1299. Immediately when I noticed the mistake on my slip I went back and my R499 was given back to me. No one mentioned anything about the "scan rite".
It is with great disappoint that I was treated unfairly by my favorite supermarket. I would like to know from you as to why was my case treated differently.
