I went to clearwater mall on Sunday (05/02/2013) and there was a pack of 2 dettol soaps and hygiene wipes on special for R19.99, excited I took 3 packages. When I went to the till, these items items scanned at R23.99 each. The teller then requested the supervisor to come in and correct this. After waiting half an hour for a supervisor, I had to walk up to customer services and call one myself. The sneaky supervisor attempted to correct the price and leave, when I stopped her and told her about the Scan Rite policy. She then called the manager who also pretended not to know what I was talking about until I told him I would make further inquiries into this. After another 20 minutes of this and when I was walking out of the store I discovered an additional pack of soaps being added to my bill, which the cashier had told the supervisor to remove as it was an error. It took the supervisor a further 20 minutes to rectify this. This is not the service I expect from pick n pay. Having a policy which the staff try to customers out of is appalling. And the resolution time was terrible causing me to pay for an extra hour of parking. I am seriously disgusted by this!!!
