I have tried in vain to get the money I accidentaly transferred from my clicks credit card to a non existant ABSA account, while I was trying to pay a debtor. Its been over a year now and I have provided all the proof the clicks call centre agents have asked for to get back the money I paid. Other banks have automatically return ed my money if one has deposited into a nonexitent account, but clicks credit card ely refuses to retun my money. I am convinced that there is a going on as I am not even allowed to speak to anyone in their investigations unit to find out what the actual problem is and to get a direct explanation. I am consistantly blocked by the call cetre agents and only receive emails that say I have to speak to ABSA bank, but ABSA bank says the money will have been reversed back if the account was non-existent. Clicks credit card is a serious frustration, I cant wait to pay off the debt and close the account. I have had the clicks credit card for many years now, but this means nothing to the company.
