I got my iPhone 5 on the day it was launched through Vodacom at Incredible Connection (they were the only place at the time offering Vodacom contracts). The charger that came in the box was a UK one but they gave me another one (South Africa/Europe 2-pin charger) wrapped up outside the box. Last week while charging my phone the charger exploded, luckily no damage to my phone. So I took the charger back to Incredible Connection to exchange it for a new one but instead was given an adapter for the UK charger. Now first of all what sub standard charger did I get the first time around which exploded after barely one month (and could have seriously damaged my phone) but now I'm stuck with a very big charger (charger plus adapter) that doesn't fit in to most 2-pin plugs! I was told this is now what they give to customers to replace the blow-up ones (they had a few of these according to the sales person). Why not replace it with a genuine iPhone charger that fits South African plugs?
