A while ago I decided not to buy from Groenkloof Spar because of poor service. Items which was advertised as a special, were not available, prices are very expensive comparing to other shops, etc. The beginning of the year, I've decided to buy there again because they are near to my home. About 3 weeks ago I wanted to buy bananas but the price was R12 for 4 bananas. I left it and bought at a shop around the corner 1kg for R10. Today I went there to buy something and wanted to pay my Leserskring account. On the invoice it is stated that it can be paid at Spar. But at Groenkloof Spar, you can't pay it. According to Mike, the manager on duty, they don't do it at Groenkloof but only at their "other branch". Today was the last time that I will go into Groenkloof Spar. I will rather go to Queenswood Spar where the staff are much more friendlier, items are better priced, there is more variety, etc.
