I have now had it with SPAR in Wierda Park. This is the worst shop ever!!! Products are always past expiry date or rotten. I have asked for rotten bananas to be removed off the shelves in 2013. The manager on duty told me that if I don't like it, I should not shop there. On 26 December 2013 I wanted to buy cold meat and noticed some packets had already expired on 6 December 2013. I brought this under the attention of the manager on duty and again was told to shop somewhere else if I don't like it. On January 4, 2014 I bought a 2l ice cream, when I opened it at home (I live 2 minutes from there) everything was water and had a super bad sour smell. I went back to the shop immediately and insisted on my money back plus a new tub of ice cream for the inconvenience. Again I got a response 'If you don't like it shop somewhere else'. This Spar seems to think that everyone is dependent on them seeing that it is the only shop in the area. I will rather pay double the price and go to Woolworths than ever supporting a SPAR in my life again.
