My first claim was a Motorola that cost about R1500 and I had insurance for it for a claim up to R2000. When it was I was told I could claim for up to R2000 and I took Blackberry 8520 curve that costs about R2800 that was about 2 years and the lady told me I could pay the R800 difference which I did and she advise me to increase my premium for a claim up to R3000. She explained to me that I can claim any Cellphone for up to that value of R3000 it does not matter if the value of the Blackberry 8520 Curve I took is down.
My phone was and now I've been told that I can only claim for up to R2000 because the value of the phone is down. I was never told of this, if I did I would have decrease my premiums and why didn't they decrease my premium if the value of the phone is down.
It is not my fault I was give the wrong information and I cannot have a R1000 taken away from me like this...
