Poor service

We bought vouchers to the value of R1400, got to the till only to find the vouchers wouldn't scan - all 12 of them. The manager was called. She barely made eye contact or made any attempt at anything resembling a greeting. She didn't provide much help, gave the cashier an instruction and walked away. Didn't bother to thank us for our time or take into consideration our frustration and that of our, by then, crying toddler. Why do I need 12 vouchers? Why not print me 1 voucher of the value I need? How inconvenient! You should definitely consider some soft skills training for Mrs Unskilled Brown who wouldn't know good customer service if it kicked her in the head. Appalling! I see no other options but to spread the word about the shocking service at Sandown Checkers - its screams social media! Looks like I will have to go back to pick n pay. So thanks but you have just lost a monthly income of R5000 - which translates to R60000 annually. And that's just from me. Let alone all my friends in the area who will happily join my protest.
