Customers treated as or staff???

HI

I purchased a sony car system last friday. It came with a 8 gig usb. I called & spoke to Moxolisi who kept one aside for me to fetch. Upon arrival at Makro on friday, i spoke to Moxolisi & got the Sony system. I mentioned the usb memory stick which i was supposed to receive & he was supposedly arranging for this to be given to me. None was given to me and as I shopped around for other electronic items, I completely forgot about the Usb stick.
On arrival at home, i remembered & called Makro. I spoke to Ferinand (?) & then spoke to Mark (manager) &was instructed that I could fetch usb stick anytime. If he was not there, then i could speak to Nicolas, who would then arrange it for me.

it was ridiculous for me to make a special trip just to get the usb stick - my petrol would have cost me more.
i arranged with my good wife to fetch this when she was shopping at Makro. She arranged with Mark & all was in order to fetch usb stick until...

At security, my wife was distastefully cross examined as to how could they believe that she didnt take a usb on the day of purchase as well!!!
After such extensive arrangements -makes me wonder if staff usb sticks in this way!!!
