Insists on charging more than whats on the tag

Today, my husband and I went to Edgars in Woodlands Boulevard to purchase a pair of sunglasses. The glasses were marked R99.95. After waiting in the queue for over 15 minutes, with just 2 other persons in front of us. And 3 other cashiers (1 of whom was standing with their "hands" in their pockets) we were told the item scans at R129.95. When we queried it we were told that they can't change the price, as that is the price from head office. After talking to a manager we were told head offices policy is "take it or leave it" in that many words. He said even if the price is marked one way but scans another, they don't have to mark it down! How can you expect us to pay more than what the ticketed price is!! That's false advertising, and no willingness to help from the manager on duty at the time!! Shocking to say the least. NEVER SHOPPING THERE AGAIN!!
