Service at the cashier that is unacceptable

I purchased 2 baby registry gifts at Baby City at the Crescent Umhlanga today.
It took 40 minutes before my credit card was finally swiped.
The cashier had no idea how to ring up 2 gifts from 2 different baby registries and have it all go through as one transaction on my credit card.

The manager did not come to see what the hold up was she first stated she couldn't help she was going to the back for G4, what ever that may be.
Upon her return 15minutes later I was still waiting while the cashier still cluelessly stared at the computer puzzled.
It took about 5 staff members to figure out how to ring it up. All in all when u have an 18 mth old with you and you 5 mths pregnant, this type of service is not on.
The staff obviously need training, yet they almost look to scared to ask a manager for help.
