Hirsch's do not use LG as their service partner for LG air conditioning units, instead they employ a third party company who would be at home fixing gate motors and who know little or nothing about LG air conditioners.
I purchased a unit from the in February 2012 and it has never worked and Hirsch's 3rd party contractor never bothers to turn up when you call them, they will give you a call to see if you are available in 15 minutes and when you are not they don't even bother to reschedule the call out, they say because their call logging system doesn't allow them to do this and that once the 3rd party company has been contacted there is no feedback into their system.
This means you have to make many visits to the showroom over many months or even years to effect a repair or in my case a unit which has never worked properly due to poor installation by the same company.
So I have a R 8, 000 fan on the wall which is what we use it for.
If you want an Air conditioner go to a company with expert installation and maintenance not Hirsch's
who have a great showroom but are not able to provide the maintenance and warranty service
required to ensure that air conditioning units function
