Christmas day our SMEG oven packs up. So when i looked behind i notice wires are melted and other connections are all starting to look burnt. I contact SMEG and they forward my mail and only on my follow up does the technician decide to call me. He arrived at my house today and tells me i should just replace where the wires are connections are burnt at my cost. I moved into the house with this oven, it cant be much older than 4 years, and i have photos of all the burns. we were going to buy all equipment from the SMEG demo sale clearance at northgate shopping center in cape town before moving in but thankfully there service was so bad we walked out and SMEG actually ignored my complaint i sent to them due to the rude staff in the shop!
So i will never buy another SMEG product again and everyone looking at SMEG fridges walk to the DEFY fridge and open them at the same time. Notice the similarity? So you get the exact same interior with R10k to spare in your pocket.
