We bought a smeg dishwasher from Hirschs on the 01/06/2013 model LVS375SX.
From the date of delivery we have had problems.
We called smeg 3 times because the tablet was not dissolving and the dishes were not being washed properly. Siven from aaa appliance repairs came out and raised the middle tray as this tray was touching our plates causing the tablet not to dissolve. After raising this tray the dishes came out clean but we can no longer fit our glasses in the dishwasher as they are touching the top cutlery tray.
We purchased this dishwasher with this the top cutlery tray at extra expense.
On our fourth call to Siven he said he would come out and remove the top cutlery tray. Siven however has failed to come out and remove the tray and he is not reachable on his phone.
I no longer want this dishwasher because for R10000 I am sure I can get a dishwasher that works with service staff that care and believe in service. I don't trust them and believe I have thrown my money down the drain.
If you are looking for appliances, keep away from smeg, once they have your money they don't care.
