So about a year ago I bought a new car and got some insurance quotes. The quotes were emailed to me (I did not fill an online form). The email address that I used is a very private email address and have never been used for any social related media or been typed into a web site. The day after I got a couple of quotes Homechoice started emailing me their catalogues. Did I agree that an insurance company is allowed to sell my personal details by telegraphically asking them to send me a quote? (not once was I asked if my information can be made available to a third party) I've phoned, emailed beg and pleaded to be taken off this list.. yet I keep on getting these spam mails. Because of this occurrence, myself (once a big fan of Homechoice), friends and family will never shop there again and of course we have been telling anyone willing to listen about the whole dishonest operation.
