I applied for a temporary credit limit increase at Foschini Randridge mall late December 2013 and was advised I would get feedback within a couple of days. On 10 January 2014 I went to Northgate to request that they phone the head office so as to find out what was going on - the lady at the counter was advised that I should fill in a new form and resend to them - there was no apology for the fact that I had to re-do my application as a result of incompetence of a staff member. I called the head office myself to report the complaint as well as to get my limit increased over the phone advising I would not be filling in any new forms - I was later transferred to the wrong department (collections) who after I requested to speak to a manager on the poor service and being transferred from pillar to post - decided to take my details and drop the call. No one has called me back - Foschini have clearly demonstrated to me - the customer - that they do not value or need my business as a customer. I will make my purchases from the other leading retail stores that do value customers.
