I bought a gift card during the month end of November 2013 and was saving it for January as we all know it becomes tough in January. I went to buy on the 5th of January with the gift voucher after coming back from the holidays only to find out the voucher does not have money. I went to complain at ShopRite and the manager told me that the gift card I payed is not the one with me as they checked on their transactions on that day and luckily I used a bank card to pay the voucher. My question was how come I have the wrong card what happened to the card that I payed, they told me that they have checked the card and it has been used to another shopping centre in December. THEY told me to wait as they still asking for footage in that store, but how long will I wait to buy my groceries as they keep on telling me a story when I am contacting them. Please advise as I was thinking of reporting this to the police now
