My son's cellphone got damaged and was handed in for repair to the Kenilworth Branch on the 23 Nov 2013. I have not as yet received any feedback informing me as to when this phone can be collected. I had called the branch in Dec to query the progress as we are all aware that teenagers are reliant on there cellphones particularly over the school holidays. I was informed that it would take 6 to 8 weeks for an assessment. I do understand that there is a waiting period but on the contrary Edgars Financial services do not wait 6 to 8 weeks for me to pay the insurance premium and my expectation is that if there is an issue it gets sorted out with a degree of urgency. I then proceeded to call the insurer directly who advised me that the phone had been delivered to the store. I called the store again and all of a sudden the attendant could find it and it was evident that he was just to lazy to check when I called the first time. I went to the store some time in Dec and was told that the phone could not yet be released and I would be notified by sms when to collect it. I am still waiting on the sms and had to buy my son a new phone. I will definetely be cancelling this product.
