I would like to lay a formal complaint regarding a store manager at a Game store, in Sanlam centre. The managers name is Werner Booysen. On 05 Jan. I went to go and make a payment on my Game account, as a result of not knowing my account number I was referred to the RCS section of the store. Unfortunately the electricity was off and after standing in a long queue for about 10 minutes this news was not well received. I then asked to speak to the manager. Werner who had overhead my conversation with the two RCS ladies then said with a huge smirk on his face "there's nothing we can do, we didn't ask for the electricity to go off". EXCUSE me???!!! How dare he use such sarcasm with a client!!!
Surely as a manager he has been trained to empathise and offer viable solutions to an upset client when the need to do so arises.
Shortly after asking for his name, he then said he would take me to his manager which he did. Muzi Mthethwa was absolutely charming, endearing, empathetic and professional.
