Went to the store in search of a DSTV decoder. Several Game employees standing around, chatting to one another or try to avoid eye contact. Finally got close enough to one to ask where I will be able to find a decoder - he looked at me and walked away (he went a couple of isles down and struck up a conversation with two female employees.
I approached again and demanded in no uncertain terms that I wanted to speak to the Manager. The first employee picked up the phone and spoke in an African language to a person on the phone, and then informed me that the manager is on the way.
I left before the other person arrived (it took too long). Later learned that the Manager is actually English speaking - apparently this is the latest ploy. If you ask for the manager they phone a friend from another department to come and talk to the client - and you never hear from them again.
Not the first time I've had this problem with Game - but definitely the last time. Won't see me again - ever!! Will make sure everybody knows of my bad experience.
