At around October last year the blackberry 9300 curve was selling at Game for R1999 on cellc. I had gone to Game in sanlam centre pinetown and bought a unit. This year (2013) in November the fone became faulty even though its still in good condition it freezes and switches off even after being fully charged. I had phoned sanlan centre game in november and informed them of the above, I had also explained to them that I have the phones IMEI 351515058029416, PIN 299C1C2B, but all the receipts that I had found are not readable and the ink dissapeared - therefore i donot know which receipt it is as we buy quite often at GAME. Was told over the phone to bring the unit in its box to the store. On saturday 7/12 I had taken the phone in to Game, went to the cell phone counter who refused to accept it, and was refered to the branch manager. The branch manager refused to assist and eventually stated that if I bring any blank receipt he can book it in, i was surprised and asked how long does the ink on the receipt last to which he could not answer. had to take the phone back home - Why would you take down th IMEI number if you dont keep sales records - whats worse is you know the receipt fades
