I sent my Tobi steamer in for repairs a month ago, after Game Fourways sent me to the Verimark shop in Fourways Mall. The fault on my Tobi was ONLY that it tripped the power when switched on.
I received the Tobi back today and paid R280 for the "repairs" although the unit was still under warranty. Verimark refused to honour the warranty period.
My Tobi is now leaking water from inside the unit at an alarming rate!
I am just glad that I was not hurt switching the unit off and that I did not cause an electrical fire as the unit leaked its entire contents on my living room carpet.
