I pre-ordered boerewors and rolls for our company's Christmas party. In the morning Siphiwe from Hurlingham PnP gave me a call to let me know that the machine that makes the rolls had broken but not to worry as there was going to be someone to come and fix it and I would still get my rolls. Upon arriving at 12:00pm the rolls had not been made as they were busy fixing the machine. I then spoke to Siphiwe and a little frustrated I told him I needed the rolls. Siphiwe recommended that I either buy the pre-packed rolls at an extra charge or if I could wait until 2:00pm, he would deliver the rolls to my office free of charge. So I paid for the rolls and left. Upon Siphiwe's and Nkateko's arrival at 2:00pm, as promised, they were very cheerful and apologetic for any inconvenience caused. I then gave them a copy of my slip that showed I had paid for the rolls because out of their own pocket they had then paid for the rolls again because they were not allowed to leave PnP without proof of payment. I am very grateful that they made a plan to fix the problem and did it with a smile. Siphiwe and Nkateko showed outstanding customer service and I will definitely return to that branch.
