King and Queen insult complaining customer!

I placed an order and paid for 24 cocktail rolls.

On the following afternoon, I collected my order and was asked to pay for an additional 6 cocktail rolls as 30 had been baked.

At dinner time, I noticed that there were black marks on ALL of the rolls.

The rolls were returned the following day, but was told by Julia (the owner's wife) that I must just accept that that is how they turned out and that the restaurants that they supply, have never complained.

This morning I returned the rolls to the owner, who wanted to educate me on how the rolls were baked in their steam oven (vs. the conventional oven).

After much duress, he reluctantly refunded my money with the condition that he would never sell rolls to me again!

The wife insulted me as I walked passed her.

Is this how loyal customers are treated when they have a major complaint?

Beware of this amateur Portuguese bakery - you have been warned!
