I've always been weary of purchasing from Mr Price Home due to inferior quality. But 2 weeks ago I purchased a bathmat set. The mats were not used, washed once but holes appeared in 3 different spots and the fabric fibres are all coming loose. Took the bath mat back to the store hoping they could replace it. Showed the item to the staff they advised that I should exchange it. Went to the till, the manager was called. She examined the mat, looked at the tag then asked how I had washed the item. Basically, she refused to return the item as I had machine washed it, instead of hand washing it! I can't understand how a machine wash can cause 3 holes to appear in a bath mat, wouldn't the chances of fabric tearing be more likely to be caused by vigorous rubbing/friction when being hand washed? The manager, Amanda, told me that because I didn't follow care instruction, they cannot accept the product back. Mayb I'm at fault for not reading care instruction. I won't be purchasing from there ever again due to the poor quality. Strangely enough, my sister also has bath mats from Mr Price Home and has been machine washing them ever since she bought, they have no holes in them! Perhaps the care
