Efused to refund goods bought

My name is basetsana I the first week of November I bought a dress in pq clothing and in the first week of December a pair of shoes for my child, I went to ask for refund for the dress they said they don't give refund so I gave my mom both items with the receipt to exchange for anything she likes she was told by the security that the items are old so therefor no exchange. I phoned the store and I spoke to one of the ladies that works there her name is Pretty I explain the situation and she told me she will call her manager for me but she didn't instead she hung up o me, im very unhappy with the service and therefor I would like your help in sorting out this matter
