On Friday, 27 December 2013, I applied to buy a lounge suite on credid at Rochester Furniture, Festival Mall. I was told that my application was successful and that I will be contacted to confirm the delivery date. Today, 31 December 3013, they phoned me and told me that they need a landline phone number for my employer before they can approve my application. My employer does not have a landline and when I did the
application the lady did not ask me for a landline number. Now I have to wait to see if they can "work around this problem" after I was told my application was successful. This is not acceptable and I would like to know why I am expected to except such unprofessional behaviour from Rochester.
