BAD PRODUCT, BAD ATTITUDE

I bought R550-00 of meat on 26 December at Checker Moreletta. One packet was marked Fillet medallions for R169-99 p/kg. At the barbeque, I found it was another cut of meat, pretended to be fillet. It was tough, not even close to rump, far from fillet.

On 29 December I tried to discuss it with the manager without success. On 30 December I discussed it with the butchery manager. Her answer was, "they do not make mistakes". I told her I do not want my money back, I want them to know about it not to repeat the same. She however gave the same remark.

I had a butchery for 10 years, I know meat, that was not fillet! Not in texture, not in softness
