EDGARS HAS NO RESPOECT FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS INFO

I received a "pre-approved" letter in the post from Edgars stating I had a certain time to go open an account using my ID book. Within this time frame, I went into your store at Eastgate on Saturday 28.12.2013. I gave the Edgars staff member who assisted me all my documents and she then proceeded to tell me I had to be "interviewed" telephonically by the financial services division. I took the phone and I was then asked to provide all my salary details telephonically. I have clearly described above, the lack of privacy I had and told the man over the phone I was not comfortable giving this information whilst others customers were listening in. I was told if I did not I couldn't open an account. My second compliant is that the letter that was sent to me says an interest free account, however I was told my account is over 12 months with interest.
