I went to Brooklyn Mall Edgars to open an account. Justice, the risk manager was extremely professional and helpful beyond and above what was expected. I filled in a form and then was informed that i actually had a pre-approved account. Which is great except that i want a 6 month interest free account as is advertised EVERYWHERE. but because i have a pre approved account i can only get a 12 month account WITH interest. After an HOUR of phone calls and fighting i still cant get a 6month interest free account. i have an excellent credit record with accounts at every major retailer but i cant get the account that i want at edgars. this is ridiculous. very unhappy and disappointed with edgars. Why advertise an account if people cant open one??? And then i am forced/blackmailed into accepting an account with interest???
