Mr Thirion bought a double bed that was offered as a double deal, one single bed and one double bed. The mattress on the single bed is not suitable for anybody to sleep on. After 6 weeks of phone calls, I eventually get a call back from a Leslie on ref 463146 after I eventually contacted the call centre. She now tells me the single bed is not under guarantee and it really is just a ploy to get people to buy. I actually asked her if that is the case and she replied the single bed is not under guarantee. So its okay for Lewis to abuse their advertising and deceive a pensioner but still send her offers to purchase for R6000.00 more. This is most regretful that they have this attitude. The least they could have done is offer to replace the mattress. the attitude of this Leslie also left me with a real bad taste in my mouth. Yes they managed to her, but over my dead body will I allow her to go buy anything more from Lewis.
