No message with deliveries

I am just wondering why we have to fill in the section on the Woolworths website with a message when you deliver a gift, when they do not bother to add it to the gift? I order flowers for a friends birthday in May and it arrived without a message. She did not know where it came from. My sisters birthday was Monday and the same thing happened. Is it that you can not write in Afrikaans? Then why do you not indicate on your website that message can only be in English? Or is just a matter of your delivery people being to lazy to write the message? Why am I sending a gift, when the person will never know who it is from?
