Sms with points sent but not reflecting on card

I received an sms to say I have 25000 thank you points. I usually go into the store and purchase when I receive these messages. This time it reflected as "0"points on the card.
Please can someone explain this scenario, it is a embarrassing and a waste of time. I showed Shadrack the sms and he says he can't do anything.
