PATHETIC SERVICE

On 29/12/12, after having received a "back to school catalogue" dated 27 Dec - 06 Feb 13, my family and I visited the Game@Gateway as my daughter was keen on some of the stationery advertised, in particular the butterfly pencil cases. Unable to locate the items, we ask for help and get shrugged off and pushed off from one salesperson to another. We are forced to follow a clueless saleslady for over 1/2 an hr around the store. We are then directed to another 2 staff who are seated at the front of your store. They casually inform us that the trucks were still not unpacked. My question, "Why advertise for products not on your shelf? " earns me more shrugs and nonchalant glares. We leave disappointed. On 11/01/12 my father returned to the same store to apply for a pensioners card. He was told to fetch it in 2 wks time. Today (3 wks later), he returns only to be told that the card is not ready as the department that makes it, is still not open. A request for the Manager was denied and the only answer he got was "We'll contact you when its ready." I am appalled at the lack of professionalism displayed. Game clearly has no interest in customer care. Once again, a wasted visit!
