I have been a client of the cash advance system on and off for a while now. In the past I was able to draw from non FNB ATM's at an addition fee - this has apparently changed? So I get an advance today, and try to draw at an ABSA ATM at my local shopping centre (like I have always done in the past). It declines the transaction and disables my card.
I phone the Vorna Valley branch and leave several messages for the lady on duty. Eventually she calls me back and I explain my predicament - she says I have to come into the Vorna valley branch to reset the pin. started to ask her when this changed, and before I could finish my sentence she goes on a shouting rampage, continuously asking me how long I have made use of this, and why do I think I can draw from ABSA ATM, do I not know better - I couldn't get a word in and eventually just put the phone down in disgust. I AM NOT A TWO YEAR OLD CHILD AND WILL NOT BE SPOKEN TO THAT WAY - SHAME ON YOU FOR ALLOWING STAFF LIKE THAT ACCESS TO YOUR CUSTOMERS!!! - I doubt I will be back again
