I ordered a Kobo e-Book reader through Pick'nPays online shop. The package was delivered to my office on time. This was a surprise as most deliveries we receive are always late. This time unfortunately i was running late and our receptionist received the package.
The only problem with the package is that the corner of the box and the invoice were wet. Now if i ordered a bottle of milk i wouldn't even noticed this but for an electronic device it is a bit different.
I phoned the call center to get it replaced immediately. I got stuffed around a bit by the call centers and eventually got told to speak to Mavis.
Mavis apologised and immediately started to work on a solution.
about two hours later i received a new device (in a dry box) without any further hassles.
If more managers can just react like Mavis and get things sorted out immediately the world will be a better place!
