Still awaiting policy documents

Last week I launched a complaint on HelloPeter about the service I received from Markhams, I received a call regarding my complaint and was assured that it would be fixed. I spoke to Ayanda from the Insurance group on Tuesday last week, she began the process of insuring my phone, at the time, I did not have the IMEI number with me and asked her to call me back later, instead, she offered to send me an sms where I can reply with the IMEI number, and that was not done. Being that I really need the phone to be insured, I kept on wasting my airtime calling in to find out but never got hold of the insurance dept.

Yesterday at last, after I had called in again, they called me back and I gave them the IMEI number and again, the consultant I spoke to promised that the proof of insurance will be emailed to me. I also requested that the documents for another phone that I insured with them be emailed to me and I was to receive it.

I called Hi Direct this morning to assist and spoke to Andile who gladly assisted in giving me the number to call the insurance directly... when I call the number (0860117524) I am told that the number has not been activated.

Im still waiting for the documents!!
