Re-issue of lost Account Card

I have been trying to have Mr Price Account Card re-issued for weeks; every time they have been offline. This morning we managed to get hold of the call centre to get an authorisation number for the re-issue.

But because I have not changed my ID at Home Affairs and it is still in maiden name (even though I had my marriage certificate with me) they refused to issue. After being told this, I asked a manger to call back for me, but we waited on hold for 20 minutes.
I then went to another store to try again. Same person took our call, saying the same thing - then said I need to compete a form to have my account changed to my maiden name, I would need to wait for an sms before applying for a card. This is ridiculous as my legal name is Olwen van Tonder and not Olwen Jones!

I used my ID (in maiden name) and marriage certificate to open the account how is it possible that they can't issue a replacement card using the SAME DOCUMENTATION. These documents are acceptable at Banks??

I am able to purchase online using the account account number hassle free, which is more risky than me standing in front of an MRP employee with ID and marriage certificate in hand!
