Chronic medication for narcolepsy was not in stock at the pharmacy (9am), they said pay (R1500) for it and ASSURED us that they'd have it by 4pm. 2pm they call to say the supplier is out of stock. On explaining the seriousness of the condition & suggesting they source it elsewhere, Brian said he'll ask the pharmacist if they can dispense something else. 4pm we had 2 call only 2 to find out pharmacist didn't come in. Now this is my problem & all Brian could offer was 'I'm sorry'. He said he'd tried everywhere & when I pushed him on this it turned out he'd tried one pharmacy - which was out of stock too (yet later it had 40 tablets in stock). He was not prepared to try a pharmacy out of the chain, nor their sister company - and when I insisted that this cannot now become my problem (they have my money) - Brian tells me to "listen" and that I'm being "unnecessarily difficult". I remind Brian of the seriousness of my condition, including that I cannot drive without medication & he says "can't you get someone to drive you"!! This poor admin, appalling attitude & sheer unwillingness to assist in a serious situation (esp as they had my money) is shocking & completely unacceptable
